Licences for 9-seat and larger

Any minibus with 9 or more passenger seats needs category D1 on the driver's licence. Drivers who passed a car test before 1 January 1997 usually hold D1 (101) by grandfather right, which covers use that is not for hire or reward. Anyone who passed after that date has to add D1 by test. Tell us who is driving and we will confirm what the vehicle needs.
